preparation! spring break 08'

this is the silverlake lounge where we'll be playing march 24th

looks pretty sweet to me

this is the back of the studio we will be recording in starting march 25th in LA.

it is the day before we drive 6 1/2 hours down south to los angeles, california to record some new tracks off our new -EP- being released on Anodyne Records in the U.S. and Memphis Industries in the U.K. We have been practicing a whole lot for it. SERIOUS PREPARATION. it has beem intense, but it sure was nice to play that house party at the zami house on 807 laurel st. That was the most fun we've ever had at a show before. Thank you everyone who came to the show. So in terms of the recording session at Sunset Lodge, everyone is super excited to see how it turns out.

I've been writing some interesting lyrics between now and the recording session:

old soul teenager bites the bullet between his grinning teeth
again appologizing naively

procrastination has killed off past motives
in the end transcribing down our deepest wishes
fearful for when their eyes come face to face in a euphoric tone
hypnotizing conversations on the telephone

i just think of the television flashing while i stare at you
listen to what's beneath the floor

just some early progression in new songs either for the libra or the vox jaguars.
also we are playing a show at some place called the silverlake lounge on march 24.
we go on last and are playing some random bands i've never heard of.
i have heard mixed thoughts about the place, but i dont care i just want to show the world what we are made of.
